# 8.2 You Agree You Will Not

You agree you will not:

1. Create a false identity on Scoutship, misrepresent your identity, create a User profile for anyone other than yourself (a real person), or use or attempt to use another’s account;
2. Develop, support or use software, devices, scripts, robots or any other means or processes (including crawlers, browser plugins and add-ons or any other technology) to scrape the Site or otherwise copy profiles and other data from the Site;
3. Use the Site, or any data, text or other Content obtained from it, as training, fine-tuning or evaluation data for any machine learning model or artificial intelligence system, or to build or improve any competing dataset, model or service, or permit any third party to do so. This applies however the Content was obtained, including where you accessed it properly through your account. It does not prevent you from using an AI assistant to read, translate or summarise Content you have properly accessed, for your own internal use;
4. Override any security feature or bypass or circumvent any access controls or use limits of the Site (such as caps on keyword searches or profile views);
5. Copy, use, disclose or distribute any information obtained from the Site, whether directly or through third parties (such as search engines), without the consent of Scoutship;
6. Disclose information that you do not have the consent to disclose (such as confidential information of others, including your employer);
7. Violate the intellectual property rights of others, including copyrights, patents, trademarks, trade secrets or other proprietary rights. For example, do not copy or distribute the posts or other content of others without their permission, which they may give by posting under a Creative Commons license;
8. Violate the intellectual property or other rights of Scoutship, including, without limitation, (i) copying or distributing our materials or (ii) copying or distributing our technology, unless it is released under open source licenses; (iii) using the word “Scoutship” or our logos in any business name, email, or URL except as with the written consent of Scoutship.
9. Post anything that contains software viruses, worms, or any other harmful code;
10. Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, decipher or otherwise attempt to derive the source code for the Site or any related technology that is not open source;
11. Imply or state that you are affiliated with or endorsed by Scoutship without our express consent;
12. Rent, lease, loan, trade, sell/re-sell or otherwise monetize the Site or related data or access to the same, without Scoutship's consent;
13. Deep-link to our Site without Scoutship's consent, other than an ordinary link to a page you are entitled to access;
14. Use bots or other automated methods to access the Site;
15. Monitor the Sites’ availability, performance or functionality for any competitive purpose;
16. Engage in “framing,” “mirroring,” or otherwise simulating the appearance or function of the Site;
17. Overlay or otherwise modify the Site or their appearance (such as by inserting elements into the Site, or removing or obscuring any part of it);
18. Interfere with the operation of, or place an unreasonable load on, the Site (e.g., spam, denial of service attack, viruses, gaming algorithms);
19. Advertise or solicit goods or services on the Site without written permission from Scoutship;
20. Verbal or written abuse of any kind (including threats of abuse or retribution) of any Scoutship employee, member, or officer will result in immediate Account termination.
