# 3.8 Automated Processing

**What this means**: Parts of Scoutship are generated by AI. It can be wrong, it is not advice, and we will correct it if you tell us it is inaccurate.

We use automated systems, including large language models, to produce some of the material on the Services. This currently includes company narratives and strategic position analysis, sector analyses, market signals, and insights derived from our underlying data.

You acknowledge and agree that:

1. Automatically generated material may be incomplete, out of date, or incorrect, including in ways that read as confident and specific;
2. It is generated from public sources and our own database, and is not based on any confidential or inside knowledge of any company;
3. It is provided for information only. It is not investment, financial, legal or professional advice, not a recommendation to buy, sell or invest, and not a statement of fact about any company's performance, finances or intentions;
4. You are responsible for verifying anything you rely on against the underlying sources; and
5. Nothing generated on the Services creates any warranty or representation by us. Section 5 applies to it in full.

We do not use automated processing to make decisions about you that produce legal or similarly significant effects, and we do not profile you.
